Burt Reynolds and director Hal Needham has done many movies together. More famous like Smokey and the Bandit, Smokey and the Bandit II, The Cannonball Run, Cannonball Run II and Stroker Ace. Back at 1978 you could not be any hoter then Burt Reynolds in the box office.
The movie was filmed in many places but off course in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA as well. Besides Burt some well knows faces are Jan-Michael Vincent and Sally Field.
The film was relased in 1978 by Warner Brothers and was nominated for 1 Oscar for Best sound. It was nominated in best edited film by American Cinema Editors.
