Growing up, we always were around food. We would have hen parties. Only the females was allowed to come. Everyone would bring a dish. My cousins would bring the desert and the elders would fix the main dishes. It was a great time. Everyone got so busy that we don’t have the hen parties anymore. I miss them and the togetherness we all shared.
